Introducing
"THE CONVERTIBLES", one of Houston, Texas' favorite
Goodtime Party Variety Bands!
With
a repertoire that includes hit songs from the last 5 decades,
The Convertibles is an act that is sure to please most everyone.
"A Little Bit
Of Everything - Something For Everyone", is the band's motto,
and it couldn't be more true.
The
band covers a wide variety of material: Classic Rock, Hot Country
and Southern Rock, Funk, Blues, Soul; even a few "Golden
Oldies".
This
band has been kicking ass and taking names since they burst on
the Houston live music scene almost 6 years ago. Formed originally
by Jeff Hale and his younger brother Mitch Hale, over the years
a multitude of players have come and gone. The Convertibles has
grown by leaps and bounds and the band feels that at this point
they have the right chemistry!

A
favorite and requested act all over town, The Convertibles have
appeared at many local clubs as they continue to build a loyal
following and fan base.
The
band owes part of its success to the overall musical excellence
of the players, part to the excellent choice and variety of material
(ever sat through a night of all your favorite songs?)
and part to their ability to win over the crowd and draw them
into the performances, often times even including various audience
members on stage with the band.
The
current Convertibles line-up features
Jeff Hale on Guitar and Lead Vocals, BC Anagnostis (formerly with
"Fuzzy Side Up") on Bass Guitar and Vocals and Las Vegas
import Drummer Matt Braden.
With
an extremely cool songlist of over
700 hit songs as well as a few catchy originals, The Convertibles
are an act that is sure to please and guaranteed to put a smile
on everyone's face!
